Ah, yeah some of the linux themes would look nicer in Vista, do you make your own uxtheme.dll patcher or use a program like VistaGlazz?
:icondoomangelgr:
it patches the vista/7 icons and adds kde 4 wallpapers, thus a ux theme patcher don't required. there is some code in my app just to handle the privileges and take control of system files. Thanx for your interest and nice work with dolphin. I just discovered and it is great.

no no dont worry your program works fine

i worded it wrong

my computer has been messed for a while (after surving some virus attacks)

your program did not screw anything up, but it did give me the message that about 6 dlls could not be "reshacked"

i do not know if its my "crippled" and aging vista install that i need to format soon

or if its your program

i do know that vize, tize did work fine on the same install (i have had those uninstalled for a very long time though so there isnt any conflicts)

i guess its a bug, but it might be my computer

most of the icons get skinned

heres a screeny of the problem

[link]

i do not know if the volume icon gets skinned in the dlls that do not patch

but im going to assume it does nto

are you going to completely change all windows vista icons like tize does?

nice project btw i love the icons better then tango

update:

your program is great :D

i found the problem it does not patch files when one fails to patch

i just had to uncheck the failed file and the others ones got patched

it turns out the failed file is the icon of my sound card control panel link

i dont think you have a KDE icon for that so it fails

is that true?

now you just need a icon for the sound in the system tray
